MARK GRAY
Kooker’s is a family-owned fast food restaurant in Barrington. The first thing I will tell you is that the owners/operators Karen and Jerry are great. They will ask about your day and make you feel like family. I have breakfast there two or three times a week at Kooker’s and sometimes lunch. The Food is great and the prices more than fair. The two egger with ghost cheese I highly recommend. The half pounder is great too!!
Thanks for the good food.
To me, Kooker’s is like a neighborhood diner. The owners and cooks interact with the customers, making it my favorite spot for breakfast on Saturdays.
From the varied menu of omelettes, hot dogs, burgers and fries, salads, homemade soups and so much more, it is a great place to eat. Many specialty items, like guacamole and chips, pulled pork, and then there is homemade gumbo for Mardi Gras as well as paczki from Jarosh Bakery. This only scratches the surface of the menu. The atmosphere is relaxing and great prices. Sometimes I stop in for a hot dog and fries for lunch to relax and read before running more errands.
Make an effort to stop at Kooker’s. You will be glad that you did

At Kooker’s you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The difference here from other places I have eaten at is Jerry, Karen and crew treat you like family. In these times, that’s important today. The food is great and the price is right. GREAT food,GOOD laughs. It doesn’t get any better than that.
